Question - flipping through the mail envelopes, I saw this nasty envelope saying “important notice” dated 04/06 from the utility company, and opening it I saw a water shutoff notice demanding payment by 04/13 or a disconnect on 04/14. Unfortunately one window in the apartment fell open and absolutely refuses to latch closed - I suspect that the house has settled because it looks like the frame is obstructing the window from fully closing. I’m off to jury-rig a solution involving duct tape to keep the heat and bugs out, but I believe a more permanent solution may be desirable
